In the past decade over the last decade, we’ve slipped away from being a “TEAM” society and have transformed into one of a “Me” society. Everywhere you go, people are striving to make an impression to be”the” next “big” thing, gain their 15 minutes of fame and make a lot of dollars. It’s the “Me” mindset is if it doesn’t bring me pleasure or benefit me joy now, then I’m not interested in it.
The most unfortunate thing is that we’re getting rid of the essence of working as a TEAM. The truth is that we benefit more from being a part of a TEAM than as a MEAM (Me-Team). The majority of people know this but aren’t able to take an entire MEAMS group and turn them into TEAM.
What is it that you need for you to move from MEAMS TEAM?
Vision or Goal
If you want to establish an effective team, you have to establish the vision or goal. This goal should appeal to every MEAM. It could be the satisfaction of accomplishment certain MEAMS. It could also be the financial reward for other MEAMS. This could be recognition that is appealing to a portion of members of the MEAMS. The vision or goal has to have a good motivation or motive to get the MEAMS to unite around it.
The right MEAMS:
You must have the correct type of people to build the perfect TEAM. Suppose your MEAMS aren’t interested in anything other than themselves; the path towards forming a TEAM is going to be challenging. One of the most important things to remember is to discover the most influential MEAMS which you can work with in order to accomplish the objective. Excellent TEAMS are comprised of smaller groupings of MEAMS. This is their influence circle, and they tend to gather around their groups.
Continuous reinforcement
The MEAMS require continuous reinforcement of their goals or the vision. This is the glue that keeps the team together. Make sure that you communicate the vision or goals when it is appropriate to do it. Do not muddle this method because it will become frustrating. Find innovative methods of communicating or demonstrating the advantages so that they can remain focused as a team.
Understand that there will be roadblocks.
Roadblocks could be rally cries for your team. Find a way to turn an obstacle into a motivational chance. Keep an eye on these roadblocks. Every great team is bound to encounter these roadblocks. If they aren’t removed or communicated with, the roadblock could break your team and turn into MEAMS. Imagine an unintentional train. When one car hits the roadblock, it may disrupt the train. It could result in a loss of time, money, and resources.
Celebrate the big and small Wins:
To keep the team together or to maintain it, Make sure that you’re celebrating small wins throughout the process. When you celebrate, you can make use of this experience to remind the team of the more significant objective. As a group, you must decide the actions you’ll take to commemorate this achievement. Select the time, location, and what you’ll do to be a part of the celebration. The more detailed you are, the more effective. Find little trinkets or rewards to reward your productivity or performance. If you win, ensure you rejoice. If you don’t, say the team goodbye.
Making a TEAM of MEAMS can be draining and rewarding. If you make a mistake, it can cause you to want to take your hair out. If done correctly, it will be among the best and most satisfying memories of your life.
Join forces now as TEAM, and you’ll walk as a TEAM throughout your lifetime together.
