It is possible that they lack the feeling of being part of a team in achieving their goals. They may not share a plan or even a shared goal instead of focusing on their individual, personal purpose. They could be lovely people who are highly productive; however, they aren’t getting any benefit from chatting with one another. They may drink drinks. However, they are talking about social activities more than work.

A Bad Group and Groupthink
A bad group comprises of people who work together in a manner that is not helping and could even hinder the work that the team produces. A group that isn’t in unison, and there are people as well as small groups. A few of them are striving to accomplish, while some aren’t. The results of a bad group will be lower than that of a group or one of a Team.
Groupthink is the exact opposite of Team and is an extremely powerful thing. It’s not often in the workplace; however, it is important to be aware and to take care to ensure that this doesn’t happen to your team. This is the place where an organization is highly united and has an extremely strong sense of belonging. But, they’re going towards the OPPOSITE direction from their common goal. The people in this group have a common perception of the working environment and the work they do, which is geared towards preventing achievement and achievement. For this group, success is a negative thing. They defend their beliefs and will snub any person who attempts to disagree with them. They often stereotype and call them an outgroup.
